It is with great excitement we introduce a newsletter from McDonough Manufacturing, “Sawdust City News.” Designed specifically for our customers, the focus of each newsletter will be to provide information that will be useful to you. We will share maintenance tips, upcoming machinery shows, important spare part information, what to look for when buying machinery, along with other topics.

The name of the newsletter comes from our city’s nickname. Eau Claire, WI, which is now over 65,000 people, began as a small lumber town. With 13 sawmills along the banks of the Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers, there is no doubt why we earned the name the “Sawdust City.”

If you have a helpful maintenance tip you would like to share with your fellow “lumberjacks,” just email it to us (mcdonough@mcdonough-mfg.com). We’ll give you all the credit if we publish it and mail you a free McDonough hat.

There are a lot of new and exciting things happening at McDonough. We have a new website, growing support team for our customers, this newsletter, and an entire new line of Gang and Board Edgers. We hope you enjoy all of the great information in this newsletter as well as future newsletters!
